- Stage 1: Initial Contact

As with many online services, communication throughout development is through e-mail, as this allows us to transfer any documentation/samples easily and also improves productivity. As website development is a complex process, we ask that you provide as much information as possible before we are able to provide a quote, this simplifies the process and prevents any extra charges during development.
To aid this process, we will ask you to provide information on the following :

• What is it that you want from your website? General information/selling a product etc
• General information on your business/group.
• Do you have a domain name (e.g www.yourbusiness.com)?
• Do you have hosting space for your website?
• Do you already own a website?
• Do you have existing content for your site? e.g brocuhure
• Will you need to update your site, once it is complete? e.g newspages or service/product prices
• How soon do you need the site?

Before development can begin, you will be asked to provide as much content as possible for your site, such as :

• Company logo images (Digital preffered)
• Product/business premises images etc
• Text content
• Contact details

We know from experience that some customers do not have an in-depth understanding of the internet/website design, especialy if you are purchasing your first website.We also appriciate that every customer's needs are different - as each website is unique. Therefore, if there are any areas that you do not understand or have any other questions, please feel free to contact us.

Content is the most important factor of any website and we request that the majority of your content is provided before we commence with the design of your site, as this has a major influence on the design and structure. We also advise that you provide as much quality content as possible - as this helps with the position of your site with the search engines.

You should also provide any images (Company logo/products etc) that you wish to be included in your site. These should preferably be in digital format to improve image quality - although we can assist in this process through our logo design service. We can also provide a professional photographer for images of your products and your company premises if required.

Once the content has been received and the site requirments are understood, we will provide a quote, free of charge, with details of the work required. These details should then be checked before work begins to prevent additoinal fees after work has begun.

It is at this stage that you should consider the two different payment packages (single fee or pay monthly). With a single fee, you make one payment which does not allow for any additional changes once your site is live, whereas the monthly payment option allows a set number of changes to your site per month. Please note that the minimum contract for all websites is one year.

When we receive the go-ahead, a non-refundable setup fee is required before work begins to cover administration fees.
